Corneal Abrasion - Left Eye

I started writing a post the night I went to the Hospital during the tech week of Bat Boy after I was cutting wood and had wooden shards thrown in my face. I finally finished writing it. That was an interesting night. (Apparently it was around Oct. 15)

That's what I did to myself last night cutting wood to brace a table for Bat Boy. It really hurt and I ended up going to the UPMC Presbyterian hospital. I was really impressed how quickly they took care of me there, it was nice to witness such well orchestrated group of trained individuals. I saw the eye doctor and she basically raped my eyes for an hour. She flushed them out and then dyed them so she could look for scratches. My right eye was fine, but my left eye was scratched. She didn't stop there. She poked and probed my eyes for a while and gave me a full eye exam. She numbed my eyes, took my eye pressure, dilated my pupils, gave me a vision test, and who knows what else. By the end of the evening, I just wanted to go home. My eye still hurt, but I could see, so that was good. By the way, campus police was very useful during all of this. They came with CMU EMS and the officer drove me in his squad car to the hospital. I was hoping he would turn his lights on, but no luck there. They even came and brought me back to campus after I was finished. The cop asked where I lived so he could take me home, and I replied McConomy. He was confused, so I said I had to go to the University Center for my organization. At this point it was after midnight. He seemed very confused why I had to go to the University Center after midnight with a corneal eye abrasion to boot.

That was a long week. At this point I'm not sure which was worse, Bat Boy or RUMORS as far as me being up all the time during tech week, not the quality of the show. They were both very good.
