It goes on. I have to write a paper about the similarities and differences between the Irish Nationalists and the Ulster Unionists. It's similar to how there was English support in the American colonies before the American revolution. Way to go England, the only people who like you are prissy pussies who don't want to take responsibly for themselves. Sorry Becky, I don't mean to make fun of your British friend.

In actual news, I got asked back for a second interview with ATK. That's scheduled for Friday, December 9. I'm excited. I don't know if you've heard but NASA is planning on cutting space shuttles completely and moving on to other things, such as solid rocket motors (see the last bulleted item from the previous link). We may see manned space exploration look similar to the Apollo program back in the 60's. I think it's safer and cheaper. One of the problems they're facing right now is if you were to have a fire or explosion on the launch pad, how do you safely fly the part of the ship the crew is in out of there and land it safely. If I worked there, I'd probably be helping research this area.

Basically, I could be helping to replace space shuttles. That sounds really cool. I'm not sure what to expect. The job would be in Elkton, Maryland. Anyone from around there? I hear it's nice. I'll let yinz know how it goes.

Unrelated to any of this, the ROFLCOPTER and I backed up my hard drive from my laptop. It took 12 CD's. It took forever, but at least it's done. Now I feel comfortable sending my computer off so they can fix my screen and my battery. If you haven’t backed up your hard drive in a while, I suggest buying some software and a bunch of CD's and go to it. Once your hard drive dies, that's it. Your info is still there, you just can't read it.
