Geauga Lake Amusement Park - Thrills, Chills, and a Head Ache
The ROFLCOPTER escorted a few ladies around Geauga Lake today with my friend Adam and myself. Three of our friends, visited from Pittsburgh and we went to the Amusement park first. We went on all of the roller coasters. My head hurts. Those things really throw you around. The wooden roller coasters have new cars and they're small! Adam and I could hardly fit in them. The leg bar comes down right on top of you and there's no freedom to move. Those rides were designed to let you move around in your seat a bit, but now that you can't, you take every little (or big because there were quite few) bumps or shakes on the track. After lunch we went to the water park and played around there for several hours. Two of the girls had an embarrassing moment when their tops (or part of their tops) came off after splashing into the bottom of a super fast water slide. They were laughed at, we felt bad...for not being there when it happened! JKing. We spent a while in the wave pool. That was so much fun. I still feel like I'm floating in it. That thing is not safe though. They had a pull out, literally every five minutes. I'm glad that's not my job.
After we were done in the water, we left the park and had dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. The food was really good. I must say I'm impressed with their food, but the waitress we had was just starting out and she was so slow. My God, she was slow. After we ate we tried to find a miniature golf course with directions from the Ruby Tuesday's Girls. They forgot one turn so we got lost but eventually found it but by that time they were closed. It was behind a movie theater so we decided to go check out the times. We ended up seeing The Village. I think that movie is clever and well done. That was my second time seeing it. Even if you don't like scary movies, see it anyway. It's a little different from your average horror flick. We got out of there at 11:30pm and we separated ways at that point. It was a fun day and I'm glad I went. ROFLCOPTER works tomorrow, and so we're off.
